Where we work

One continent. Many frontiers.

Africa produces a large share of the world's gold, yet receives a small share of global exploration spending. Its greenstone belts, from the Birimian of West Africa to the Archaean cratons of East and Southern Africa and the Arabian-Nubian Shield, remain among the least explored gold terrains on Earth.

Our focus

Known districts, untested depth.

We focus on the historic gold districts of Africa's greenstone belts, worked by artisanal miners for centuries and by industrial operators for decades, where the oxide zone is known and the fresh rock beneath it is not.

We favour jurisdictions with a modern mining code, a defined framework for State participation and a track record of industrial gold production.
