Frontier Mining

The next mines are hidden. We go and find them.

The gold industry has a paradox. Prices have never been higher, yet grassroots exploration has fallen to a historic low share of exploration budgets. The deposits that remain lie under deep weathering, in belts mapped only in outline, far from roads and power. Finding and building them takes a different discipline. We call it frontier mining.

Four frontiers

What makes the ground hard, and how we work it.

Geological

Below the regolith

Across tropical Africa, tens of metres of laterite and saprolite blanket the bedrock. Surface anomalies spread, shift and fade. The oxide zone has been worked for centuries; the fresh rock beneath it has barely been drilled. We design exploration for weathered terrain: regolith mapping first, then sampling media and drill depths chosen for each layer of the profile.

Geographic

Rich belts, thin data

Africa's greenstone belts are among the most endowed gold terrains on Earth, yet large parts of them have never been systematically explored. We go where the geological case is strong and the competition for ground is still light.

Technological

Major-company tools, operator speed

Remote sensing, 3D modelling and geostatistics are standard at the largest mining houses. We apply the same tools with a short decision chain, so that a new result changes the next step within days, not quarters.

Operational

From artisanal footprint to industrial mine

Frontier ground often carries artisanal workings, limited infrastructure and young institutions. We build in stages, starting with near-surface material that can be mined and processed with modular equipment, and grow toward hard-rock mining as the resource and the cash flow allow.

Our principles

Four rules we do not bend.

Evidence first

No capital is committed to a target the data does not support. A strong signal is a place to investigate, not a discovery.

Stage every decision

Each phase has its own gate: what must be true before we spend on the next one.

Independent verification

Resources are estimated to the JORC Code or NI 43-101 and signed by independent Competent Persons.

Build for the long term

We aim to operate for the life of the mine, not to trade a licence.
