We do not stop at discovery. We build mines.
A resource is a promise. A mine is a delivery. Aremis is built to carry a deposit from its first resource estimate to steady production, and to keep improving it once the gold is flowing.
Three phases, each with its own gate.
| Phase | Material | Approach | Gate to the next phase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1Near-surface | Alluvial, eluvial and lateritic material | Modular gravity processing, low capital, short lead time | Positive cash flow and a proven operating team on site |
| Phase 2Oxide | Saprolite and transition zone | Open-pit mining, conventional processing, recoveries confirmed by testwork | Resource and metallurgy confirmed at depth |
| Phase 3Fresh rock | Primary, sulphide-hosted ore | Deeper pits, full processing plant, project finance | Bankable study and financing in place |
Each phase is designed to fund, de-risk and inform the next. Near-surface production builds the site, the workforce and the cash flow. Oxide mining confirms the geology in the pit. The fresh-rock plant is built on a deposit we already know from the inside.
A mine earns trust one ounce at a time.
Every bar we pour is weighed and assayed on site, then certified by the refinery. Our production figures are reconciled against those certificates and audited by an independent firm every year. Partners, lenders and the State all see the same numbers, from the same source.
- Refinery-certified output. The refinery certificate is the reference for every ounce we report.
- Independent audit. Production and accounts reviewed every year by an independent auditor.
- Regular reporting. Production, grade and recovery reported to partners on a fixed calendar.
- Long-term horizon. Built to operate for the life of the mine and to meet every obligation that comes with it.
The model has to hold in the pit.
Grade control
Close-spaced sampling ahead of the shovel, so the plant sees the ore the model predicted.
Reconciliation
Model, mine and plant compared every month. A model that does not hold is corrected, not defended.
Metallurgy
Recovery measured by testwork on every ore type before it is mined, from gravity to cyanide leach.
Health and safety
No production target justifies an injury. Safety performance is reported alongside ounces.
